A CREATIVE PROJECT COLLABORATION WITH SUBTV
We’re excited to announce our new creative project collaboration with University of Arts London (UAL) as part of the curriculum with credits to work with SUBTV.
Led by SUBTV’s very own Creative Lead – Erin Carlin, a multimedia digital designer specialising in creative ideation, illustration, and motion graphics. Erin, also an alumnus of the UAL, has developed a diverse skill set that blends artist creativity with technical expertise used in driving innovative visual storytelling that resonates with audiences and elevates brand narratives.
Inspired by the vibrant and boundary-pushing idents of broadcasting giants like MTV in the ‘80s and ‘90s, SUBTV is set to redefine student media with a fresh, creative initiative. As the UK’s only music channel dedicated entirely to students, SUBTV is looking to build a dynamic catalogue of animated idents—crafted by students, for students.
The project invites budding animators, designers, and digital artists from universities across the nation to collaborate on this exciting endeavour. The goal? To create a collection of unique logo idents that will be broadcast on the SUBTV network, captivating an audience of over 1.2 million students.
This isn’t just a chance for students to showcase their creativity—it’s an opportunity to be part of something bigger, to leave a mark on a channel that reaches the heart of student life. The SUBTV music channel is known for its fresh, energetic vibe, and with this initiative, it’s putting the creative reins directly in the hands of its audience.
