FRIGHT NIGHT AT 53 DEGREES

SUBTV got to play party planner for the University of Central Lancashire’s Student Union (UCLan SU) annual Halloween bash! We used our cool new tool – Campaign Management – to spread the word to all our awesome viewers. Picture this: Fright Night at 53 degrees, an event the students missed in 2022, so you know 2023 had to be extra special. We wanted everyone in on the fun – returning students and fresh new faces alike. It was our way of making sure nobody missed out on the Halloween thrills. Let’s just say, it was a frightfully good time! 🎃👻

CONTENT

Getting everyone pumped for the Halloween bash was a blast! We spiced things up with a short, spooky video during ad breaks on the channel, thanks to the creative geniuses at the venue. It was like a sneak peek into the thrilling night ahead. We didn’t stop there – had it playing for a solid two weeks before the event, strategically timed during the venue’s busiest hours. Talk about capturing attention! It was our way of making sure everyone was in the loop and ready for a frightfully good time. 🎃👻✨

To keep the Halloween hype alive, we sprinkled some subtle branding magic on the channel, like a friendly ghost lingering in your thoughts. We tossed in a nifty QR code, a secret passageway leading student to more info and event tickets. It was all about making the smooth journey from curious to party ready.

SUBTV music team went all out to create the ultimate Halloween playlist that’s not just music—it’s a spooktacular experience! They carefully handpicked each tune to give you the perfect blend of creepy and catchy vibes.

We hooked up the venue with the power to send friendly reminders through push notifications on our app offering sweet deals on tickets. One tap, and you’re on your way to snagging tickets, no hassle. 📱

REVIEW & RESULTS

While we’re pretty sure there were other ways to spread the word about Fright Night besides SUBTV, think of us as the friendly ghost in the mix! We’re not here to replace anything, just add some extra fun. Our platform is like a secret passage to connect with an audience that venues might not reach directly. An impressive increase of just over 2 and half times the usual number of students that attend the venue on a Tuesday night, turned up for the Fright Night event.
