Rock Dominates This Year’s Vinyl Album Chart!

Vinyl Album Charts 2015 rock Noel Gallagher

Three quarters of the way through 2015 and already statisticians are compiling sales lists!

The resurgence in the popularity of vinyl continues and while the ten best selling vinyl albums of the year features seven re-released classic LP’s, the list is topped by this years Chasing Yesterday from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. The ex-Oasis musician’s massive success does not stop there either, the album is also the year’s fastest selling while he holds the top four places in the year’s best selling vinyl singles as well.

The only other two records released this year to make the Top 10 are Blur’s The Magic Whip and In Colour by Jamie xx.

As probably could be expected rock dominates the list with The Stone Roses, Royal Blood, Led Zeppelin, Arctic Monkeys and Pink Floyd joining Gallagher and Blur to line up against Amy Winehouse , Ed Sheeran and Jamie xx.
