Muse Announce Plans For Drones World Tour!

Hot on the heels of the phenomenal success of their recent seventh album Drones, Muse have announced grand plans for their ongoing Drones World tour when it arrives in the UK in April of next year.

Performing theatrical shows in the round the band have announced they intend to take advantage of modern technology to utilise numerous computer controlled drones to fly over the audience and the stage.

The album itself was inspired by singer/guitarist Matthew Bellamy’s realisation of how frighteningly widespread the use of drones had become in modern warfare. Co-produced by the band and Robert John “Mutt” Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard etc.) the record debuted at No 1 in twenty-one countries including the UK, USA, Australia, France and Russia.

Muse’s extensive trek around the World which began back in May sees them play in China tomorrow and Monday before heading to Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea and then on to South America for dates during October and November. They resume in February with gigs in continental Europe before playing Dublin (5th April), Belfast (6th), Manchester (8th), London (11th & 12th) and Glasgow (17th).
