Graduate Customer Data & Insight Analyst

Purpose

You will be responsible for helping the business utilise various data sets, in order to understand the relationships with, and the attitudes of, our audience, customers and users both B2B and B2C.

Role/Profile

We are looking for a ‘Curious’ self-starter, with the motivation and interest to deliver actionable insight through data analytics using industry-standard tools, which will support marketing campaigns, influence product development and drive sales pitches.

  • Numerate degree, strong analytics and statistics skills – a natural problem-solver.
  • Confident and articulate, with a positive drive and an appetite to learn.
  • Preferred proficiency in Excel and Presentation/Visualisation tools.

Goals

  • Extract and ‘tell stories’ from the data sets available.
  • Provide real-time feedback to influence on-air content and communication with the audience.
  • Define audience segmentation to optimise messaging and marketing campaigns.
  • Support existing and developing data-driven sales and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain an appropriate and relevant ‘dashboard’ to support the business.
  • Identify and collect relevant and contextual data elements to form the optimal data set(s).
  • Challenge existing datasets and conclusions in order to improve awareness and efficiency.
  • Become a stakeholder in future product development(s) based upon delivered insight.
  • Define and document workflows and data structures to encourage self-serve queries.
  • Report/highlight back to the business any anomalies or trends in the data sets on a regular basis.
